A Family-Owned Remodeling Company Built on Craft, Experience, and Integrity

Your home is more than a project—it’s where your family grows, gathers, and makes memories. As a family-owned remodeling company rooted right here in North Idaho, we take that responsibility seriously. Every kitchen we renovate, every bathroom we rebuild, and every wall we move is done with craftsmanship, honesty, and respect for
your space.

We’re known for clean job sites, dependable communication, and treating each project as if it were our own home. With multi-trade capabilities—remodeling, carpentry, drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, and more—you only need one trusted team to bring your vision to life from start to finish.

MEET THE TEAM

Founder & President

John Everhart

John Everhart founded Summit Drywall and Painting in August 1993, bringing a strong work ethic, technical expertise, and a passion for construction developed at an early age. With nearly 40 years of experience in the construction industry, John began working in the trades at age 16 and became one of the youngest to obtain a contractor’s license.

John’s hands-on background helped guide Summit’s evolution from drywall and painting contractor into a full-service general contracting company in 2003. He leads business development and estimating, working closely with clients, design teams, and subcontractors to develop accurate scopes and pursue new opportunities.

He also provides project management and field oversight, supporting teams through subcontractor coordination, inspections, material deliveries, and plan and code interpretation. His field-driven approach ensures projects are well planned, efficiently executed, and held to high standards of quality and safety.

Outside of work, John is deeply committed to his faith and family. He and his wife, Jennifer, raised five children and are proud grandparents to two granddaughters and a grandson. His leadership is guided by integrity, accountability, and service—values that define Summit’s long- term commitment to craftsmanship and trusted client relationships.

Co-ower

Jennifer Everhart

Jennifer Everhart joined Summit at age 24 and has played a central role in building the company

alongside her husband, John. With nearly 30 years of experience in the construction industry,

Jennifer provides strategic leadership and operational oversight across both commercial and

residential projects.

As a contracts specialist and prevailing wage expert, she brings extensive expertise in construction accounting, compliance, and financial management. Jennifer oversees business development and financial operations, including bid and contract reviews, subcontractor proposal evaluations, job-cost tracking, payroll, invoicing, and coordination with CPAs and tax

professionals.

Her disciplined, hands-on approach ensures projects are not only built well, but properly structured, financially transparent, and responsibly managed. Jennifer is proud to help lead a woman-owned construction company known for dependable results and clear communication.

Outside of work, Jennifer is deeply committed to her faith and family. She and John raised five children and are proud grandparents. Her mission is simple: deliver quality workmanship and project oversight clients can trust—because the Everhart name stands behind every project.

Co-ower

Nicholas Everhart

Nicholas Everhart brings a lifetime of construction experience to Summit, having been raised in the trades under his father's mentorship. His foundation in drywall and painting, combined with four years of firefighting experience, has shaped his calm, professional, and safety-focused approach to every project.

Nick is actively involved in day-to-day operations, working closely with clients and project teams to ensure jobs are properly planned, clearly communicated, and executed to a high standard. His emergency response background strengthened his ability to problem-solve under pressure and maintain accountability in fast-moving environments.

Known for honesty, responsiveness, and follow-through, Nick believes every client deserves the same level of respect regardless of project size. He is committed to upholding the reputation his family has built while helping lead Summit into the future with integrity and pride in workmanship.

Junior Project manager

Bryson Moberly

Bryson Moberly supports Summit’s day-to-day operations as a Junior Project Manager, contributing to project coordination, scheduling, material organization, and on-site support. His hands-on approach and focus on teamwork help keep projects organized, productive, and aligned with Summit’s standards.

Having lived and worked across California, Tennessee, Arizona, and Idaho, Bryson brings adaptability, strong communication skills, and a practical problem-solving mindset to each job site. He values efficiency, clear communication, and respect for clients’ time.

Outside of construction, Bryson is a trained pilot and enjoys spending time in the air. His commitment to continuous learning extends to both his professional role and personal growth, contributing to well-executed,
well-communicated projects.
